I believe the current generations of filmmakers have fallen into a conventional method of storytelling, everything is a comedy, or a romance, or a western, or what have you. It's lazy, you know? We don't have as many writers or directors willing to push the limits of storytelling anymore. My goal is to craft a filmography that fully explores the different ways the art of film can tell stories. Genre is meant to be broken. It's the most important thing a storyteller needs to know, I will fight that statement to the end. Hide
