What is fascinating about the different memories that Alison and Noah remember is how obvious to the viewer, and most likely not themselves, is how well they serve the needs and desires of the person recounting them.

2 might not contain the same kind of nuance and intensity of the show's season premiere, but it's still a solid hour of television (and better than 99% of most televised hours out there).

Dominic West and Ruth Wilson's chemistry on screen is uncanny and even when the two talented actors aren't in the same shot, they easily hold their own alongside the supporting cast.
